A few days ago, we invited a group of UK retailers along to learn more about Ship from Store with exclusive insights from Phase Eight directors.
This is our report on the morning’s interactive session.
For the first time, we invited a dozen retailers to listen & discuss with 3 omnichannel experts: Guy Tambling, IT and E-Commerce Director & James Williams, Director of Online Trading & Marketing at Phase Eight and Romulus Grigoras, CEO of OneStock. The main objective was to share our Ship from Store 10 best practices. It was a great opportunity for them to learn more about Phase Eight’s successful omnichannel strategy and to interact with those directly involved in omnichannel practice: how to define the order orchestration strategy, how to introduce the project to the IT team, how to prepare the staff instore… Many questions were addressed during this session.
After several editions of OLS (at the Tower of London and Westminster Abbey), OneStock is now looking to host short learning sessions such as this breakfast. The objective of this new format is to share information about our field of expertise: the huge topic of omnichannel. As we want the events to operate on a human scale, retailers are free to ask questions and to share their own stories and experiences, which is extremely useful for everyone in attendance.
At the end of the presentation, people took time to discuss more generally their issues and benefit from the feedback of their peers on omnichannel challenges.
